"We enjoyed the house very much. The bed was warm and cosy, the fireplace in the lounge for the evening was welcome. The sun streaming in the kitchen in the morning was nice. Lots of personality in this house. We enjoyed the homemade jam too. Cheviot is well worth stopping and staying for longer. We cycled and hiked and will visit again."

"Great location, close enough to dip into Chch if wanted, but perfectly positioned to enjoy all North Canterbury has to offer, with wineries, rivers and beaches, a stones through away. Positioned in the heart of a friendly community with plenty of Cafe and dinning options within walking distance. Loved the private deck and backyard along with the bonus of the pool table for some friendly family competition. Highly recommend - great character!"
