__ PLEASE CHECK OUR REVIEWS AFTER READING THIS NOTE ABOUT UPCOMING RESERVATIONS __ We are very accommodating and hospitable hosts, and our guests have always enjoyed their stay with us. Due to an unfortunate recent experience, we want to make it perfectly clear that our rental is PERMITTED FOR A MAXIMUM OF 2 PEOPLE (total, including adults, teens, and children). The property is managed onsite and security for the guests and our home is managed by Ring devices. Arriving with more than 2 people will result in your entire party being prohibited from checking in (no reduction in guests will be accepted), escorted off the property, and you will forfeit your entire rental and cleaning fee. Smoking of any kind is not permitted on the property, and the use of chewing tobacco is only permitted if you use the MOST discreet habits 100% of the time. We're so sorry to be so stern - the recent experience was quite shocking as we are subject to a very strict and expensive permitting process, as well as insurance coverage guidelines. This is our home away from home, and relationships with our neighbors are very amicable. Above all, we really love it when our guests have a wonderful, peaceful, and relaxing time at the cabin. ***********
:::: TAHOE TIME ::::
As this is also our family retreat, you'll find it isn't just another typical vacation rental—it's truly a home away from home.
With quiet, full-time owners throughout the complex, this convenient, free-standing (no shared walls) cabin is a "getaway from it all" gem. Check out our reviews!
Wifi download speeds of 300mbps make it possible for Zoom calls with a virtual background (hint: so your boss won't even know you're in Tahoe!).
In the summer, we (and our guests) love to relax in the sun and have lunch on the back deck, then enjoy dinner on the front deck ... no shirt, no shoes, no problem!
The 3-minute walk to National Forest Service land is a great destination for a picnic (in the summer only) along 2nd Creek. You can skip the effort of packing up for the day, driving somewhere, finding parking, and finding an open (quiet) spot.
Epic vacation memories await:
- bike/walk the famous East Shore Trail (e-Bike rentals available in town),
- hike to Monkey Rock or Chickadee Ridge
- snowshoe, sled, ski at Diamond Peak
- golf at the Mountain or Champ Courses
- climb the rock wall at High Altitude Fitness
- bowl and dine at the *NEW* Incline Bowl
- gamble or enjoy an incredible spa day at the Hyatt
... and SO much more!
TART's local regional transit (vans), will *pick you up* and take you anywhere in town! TART service is FREE - although that can change, at any time, beyond our control, without notice.
You can also take the TART bus to different areas around the lake (so everyone gets to see the scenery along the way and you avoid the hassles of finding parking)!
***** SAND HARBOR STATE BEACH NOW REQUIRES RESERVATIONS (effective August 1, 2024) so you no longer have to wake up at 5 AM and wait in your car on the highway to get a spot on the beach! Kings Beach State Park and nearby stores/restaurants are just 7 to 10 minutes away, and it is 5 to 10 minutes to Hidden Beach and the now-famous East Shore Trail! Please bring your own beach towels - we do not provide beach towels due to the inability to manage the sanitization effectively. We do not provide beach chairs to leave the property - if you find something at the cabin, it is not meant to leave the cabin.
**** At this time, the private beaches in Incline Village have been ordinance-restricted to homeowner / FT residents only. Thank you for understanding this isn't a preference on our part; it is the ordinance.****
Due to health considerations by the owner, property rules, and chemical transference to the furniture, there is no smoking permitted on the property (cigarettes, cigars, especially vaping, and 420). If you use chewing tobacco, you must use the most discreet and respectful practices possible (please, our son-in-law chews, and he's very respectful of not spitting on the ground, every).
