Booked because of hot tub which we could not use the first two nights we were there because she said the pool guy had to heat it up. The other couple used it earlier that day. "Overall impression of the apartment and location was positive. Close to grocery stores, food is walkable nearby, and it was great to have parking. Directions to and thru the parking garage by the host was spot on. Enjoyed the pool 2 evenings after long walking days of LA tourists. Very easy access to highways. My 4 star rating is based on the fact that the apartment was sparsely furnished. 1 mostly uncomfortable couch, and a table with 4 chairs and that is it for seating. Would be well...

"Overall, this was a great experience. The location is directly across the street from the beach and has a view of the pier. It's in a recently renovated building that was quiet and relaxing. Walking to the Promenade, movie theatre, numerous stores, etc was great. The actual apartment is pretty great, too, and we really liked all the "extras" provided by the host, such as an Uno game, Jenga game, chairs/towels for the beach, water bottles/sodas, and so on. The TV/Roku is great, the a/c works...

"Very easy process and a fun little get away if you want something different than the hotels. Great location for walking to restaurants & shopping. Great views too! Boat is a bit dated and could use a little TLC in some areas but affordable for staying on a boat. Nothing that would keep me from coming back. Having the breakfast basket was great and yummy! There were 4 adults and very comfortable."

"We were unable to find the property or reach Shaw Carter, the property manager (or whatever). We were stranded and Verbo found us a room at Best West. We had to pay for the night and decided to spend the additional 2 nights in Santa Monica. I tried to reach BW for itemized receipt but manager not in until Monday. Will send info asap. "
