Take the free shuttle bus from Platform 9 at the Railway Station. For the 8.45 am ferry departure, the shuttle bus was picking up passengers at the Railway Station at 7.30 am.
Bus to terminal just over the road in the rail station.
Can get very rough due to weather so be careful if you get sea-sick.
If you want to sleep or chill on the Aratere ferry just head up near the plush lounge and there is a quiet area there where no loud noise is permitted, near the truck drivers area.
