It was my birthday while I was staying there and the General Manager, Mr Muramatsu, sent treats and a card to our room and the restaurant staff presented me with a special dessert! "Fantastic stay at this property. Stay in the renovated Bay Wing building if you can swing it. Staff were fantastic, very welcoming and attentive. The breakfast at Saltida was worth it, with dishes ranging from steamed pork buns, wood fired beef to pastries and fresh fruit. Some fun cafes and restaurants within walking distance, too. Saw a loggerhead sea turtle and puffer fish while snorkeling in the roped off area of the beach. Would return in a heartbeat."

"Beautiful property with a great pool and convenient access to the beach as well. Only suggestion would be to offer a restaurant where we can order a meal as all four dining options were either buffet or set course menus. All of which way overpriced so we ended up going into the city after Day 2 instead. Otherwise a great experience and would recommend this property to anyone travelling to Ishigaki!"
