"This property has been one of the best in all our visits. The beach is beautiful, pools offer something for everyone, rooms were perfect and clean, food was good although not a lot of options, but the buffet was consistently good food. "

See lots of reviews about difficulties getting reservations of which was Easily solved by understanding the booking system cycle and making reservations early in that cycle Beach -While we had a few windy days of which was great for fun in the waves with my kids the beach was fantastic and well maintained . The resident bar was well serviced and beautifully situated as well (we had the privileged option) Would have been nice to have the ocean sports (kayaks, paddle boards etc) a little better communicated as to their availability etc but that’s small stuff. Staff customer service cleanliness Etc - this is where the Catalonia shines with very friendly staff who go above and beyond to try to please and we really appreciated their efforts. Our room was always maintained top notch , and immaculate. Service as mentioned as great although at times there seemed to be not enough staff for service , particular at bar after theatre ended . Theatre and entertainment - was super fun ! Highly recommend this resort to families ! Thanks Catalonia "

"We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The room was large compared to other all-inclusives that we've stayed at. Everything was very clean, and there was a lot of attention to detail. The beach area was very private and beautiful, and the waterpark was a nice addition. There were a lot of food options, which was great for our kids. Make sure you show up early in the evening to get a reservation for the restaurants. However, buffet option was always available. Only issues were food was salty and the entertainment could have been better, but this did not necessarily decrease our rating."

"Our family of two adults, a 5 year old and two 1 year old babies and my nanny were at this property for 9 nights over New Year’s Eve. We had a wonderful stay, the property is modern and grounds immaculate and beautiful. Food is average, we tried most restaurants, our favourites were the steakhouse (perfectly cooked salmon and picanha), the Mexican and the Asian restaurants. The only oke you really need a reservation for is the Teppanyaki, which we ended up not going to. There may be a short wait for the other ones but not too bad. We had lunch at the beach restaurant every day, mostly guac with chips, some grilled food and pizza for the kids. Breakfast could certainly be better, not one good break from the wife variety of breads available. The beach is beautiful, a long and private stretch of white sand, with minimum sargassum. Perfect for kids to play, although the water was a bit chilly for my kids. I loved joining aquafun in the main pool daily. I would stay right and the centre where the adults only pool starts so my son could be swimming around me. Great entertainers! The water park is amazing and my son had a lot of fun, especially in the big bubble. The nightly shows were a hit with the whole family. We had two side my side junior swim up suites which were huge, and they both had a large jacuzzi where I bathed by kids, the 5 of us would all fit comfortably. Would certainly go back! "
