"The hotel was clean and conveniently located to the city center. The staff was friendly and there was a good basic breakfast. The room was too warm and it was difficult to turn down the heat. There was no reception after 17:00. There was no evening meal service, but the city center with several good restaurants was only 5 minutes walk."

"If you need to leave early, you might have problems. Nobody at reception before 8am. House is locked up. You need to pay your check the night before otherwise they get very unhappy. The restaurant was good. Waiters friendly. Surroundings and landscape great. Owner should accommodate early leaving guests needs. Serve earlier breakfast and allow Dropbox for keys and someone at reception in the early morning to allow easy bill pay. Thank you."

A operating restaurant, housekeeping, spa and sauna, ambience and warmth, qualified and efficient staff of any sort. This hotel is so bad that it should not be open. "It was a lovely hotel. Beautiful building, fantastic rooms that were very spacious and set in a wonderful location. Food and service at restaurant was also tremendous. My only slight criticism was that I had a poor sleep due to the mattress being a type of memory foam that I personally found very uncomfortable. I understand mattresses are a very individual thing and it really is a minor criticism, but unfortunately I had a very poor sleep due to it "
