"We were traveling as a family from Texas to Florida and pulled in to Baton Rouge for the night. The first room we got was nice but it says it slept 5 (5th person on a couch, not a pull out) and it was NOT a couch. So I went back downstairs and they made it right by moving us to a king suite. That had a pull out couch that 2 of our kids slept on and the suite was big enough to pull in a cot. First surprise- the cot is a full size and thickness twin bed on a specialized dolly frame. Our oldest son slept so well on that! Then breakfast- it was amazing. Well appointed. Freshly made. Lots of options! And the hostess was so kind and helpful! Honestly when I was looking for a hotel on hotels.com I looked at the reviews. Most were great but what I noticed was that the staff responded to all of them! They care what you think of their facility! The only complaint I read was parking is $22 on the property but I was fine with that. They do have a garage around the corner that's about $10 cheaper but we had a car topper on so we couldn't do a garage. But our stuff was secure and there on property. Overall- I would definitely stay here again. Room was beautiful and clean, as mentioned staff was very helpful and receptive and breakfast was great. I would go back to Baton Rouge again just to stay here! "
