"This was an exceptionally nice hotel in the perfect location. Just a short walk from the train station and close to everything. My husband and I enjoyed a romantic 2 days in this gorgeous little city. We took the train to Mt. Pilatus and really enjoyed the cheese fondue locally. The room was spacious and elegant. The bedding was very comfortable. "

Wonderful staff at checking office located right at the hotel Krone right around the corner! Clean room and facility! Only very few utility vehicles as that part of the city is closed to traffic! "This is an old building so yes, there will be creaky floors and ‘ambiance’ that some may not appreciate. We found the front desk staff to be very friendly and helpful. The view from our room (552) was out over the street towards Lake Lucerne. We had 3 windows, 2 of which were French doors opening into balconies. Easy walk to bakeries, local cheese shop, grocery, and many ‘best of Lucerne’ sites. Bus to the main train station was super easy. "
