Welcome to Royal Kahana 612. This oceanfront spacious 6th floor 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo offers stunning ocean & surrounding island view. This condo features a remodeled full stocked kitchen with stainless appliances, tastefully decorated, & can accommodate 4 guests. Keep cool year round with central AC & ceiling fans throughout. This resort offers many amenities and located in a great neighborhood close to food truck parks, shops, farmers market, & more. Book this oceanfront gem today!

The layout:

Bedroom: Ocean view room with California King size bed, dresser, 2 nightstands with usb chargers, TV with cable, ceiling fan, and sliding lanai door access that leads to lanai. There is also a digital safe for your use.

Bathroom: accessible from bedroom or living room and features walk in shower, updated single sink vanity, fresh towels, and luxury organic bath products courtesy of Stay Aloha.

Common area: Ocean view open floor plan consisting of a fully equipped remodeled kitchen with upgraded stainless appliances, dining table for 4 people, Smart TV with cable, pull out queen sofa sleeper, and sitting chairs. There is a closet with beach gear which consists of beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler.

Stay Aloha provides a generous essentials starter kit. This includes laundry, luxury organic bath, and kitchen essentials. We do not drop extra. There is an Aloha welcome gift for you upon arrival as well.

***There is construction going on at this resort for stucco repair on the building. It does not disrupt any of the amenities like pool, fitness center, lobby, elevators, etc.***

The Royal Kahana has a beachfront swimming pool, beachfront BBQ area, complete on-site fitness room, ping pong table, shuffleboard, and an onsite Activities Center/Concierge. Across the street is Kahana Gateway Center, a small shopping center with restaurants such as the Maui Brewing Company. McDonalds, Whaler's convenience store, a gas station, a coffee shop, souvenir shop, and ATMS are also located in the Center.

Parking:

Please keep in mind that while we do not charge a resort fee as most on Maui are now charging; the resort has implemented a parking fee that is payable upon check-in at the resort. The fee is as follows:

For the first 30 days $18.00 per day plus taxes

For 31+ days the fee is $10.00 per day plus taxes.

We do have a $50 Damage Insurance Fee that covers up to $1500 in damage for our guests. Accidents happen and we have you covered.

Beach information

*The beach fronting the Royal Kahana experiences seasonal ocean current changes that influence the beach’s physical appearance and size. During the fall and winter, it is not uncommon that these currents sweep away a very large amount of sand, which will gradually return back in spring and summer, based on the ocean's current activity. Our HOA, The County of Maui, and the State of Hawaii are working diligently to return Kahana Bay to its full potential.

This circumstance, unfortunately, affects the accessibility of our valued guests to the beach. While there may not be, at times, direct access from the property to the beach during the fall and winter season, there is a public beach access within 5 minutes walking distance. Photos taken on 1/16/2023 show useable beach, but this is not guaranteed.

PEST CONTROL AND ROOSTERS: Due to Maui’s rural location you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them. The HOA schedules regular professional pest control services for pests such as ants, roaches, and rodents however they cannot be completely controlled in this part of the world.

Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents, and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment. Everything was great and the property was better than expected. Quite amazing views in a great location! Only one issue was with the shower not working well (very hard to get hot water). Dan was communicative about the issue but it never got resolved during our stay. Otherwise a great property!

Nice resort with an amazing view
Condo was comfortable. Enjoyed the bed and pillows. The resort is lovely and clean, and is in a pretty good location on the island about 15 minutes north of Lahaina. Pool area was really enjoyable, and the beach area was great to walk up and down. The best part was the view from the lanai. Sat out there every morning with my coffee and watched the whales jumping with the provided binoculars. Would recommend this condo solely for the view!

Wonderful View and Location
Condo has gorgeous views of the ocean - watching whales while having breakfast on the deck. Very nice warm swimming pool, outdoor grills, and sandy beach. Cool breeze through the unit meant we didn't even need to use the AC. Kahana Beach location super convenient to nice beaches, restaurants, etc. We'll definitely be back!

This was an ideal condo for us, we spent a lot of time just enjoying the expansive view from the cozy, comfortable, well appointed living room! Bed SO comfortable. Conk shells going off every night at 5 pm, then glorious sunsets! We truly enjoyed out stay at this comfortable condo that made us feel like we were right on the ocean! Highly recommend this rental!! When we opened the front door and saw the view it was pure magic. I could not have been more pleased. Furnishings were adorable and very comfortable . Kitchen was to die for. Soft close doors and drawers. Alot of thought went into this place. Lots of early mornings watching the ocean. More evenings watching the sun set. Down the elevator to the beach or pool. The view from the balcony is amazing. There are several grills for everyone to use and we loved grilling. Quiet. Air conditioning was so so. Along with washer dryer, small, works but takes forever to get clothing dry. Over good properity.

The Perfect Honeymoon!
Our only complaint...the pictures don't do justice to the view and atmosphere. Royal Kahana Unit 612 over-delivered on everything! We couldn't have been happier and are already looking at booking again. The Williamsons were great with communicating with us and accomdating one or two small date changes. We wish we could keep this property as our little secret.

The condo made our vacation perfect.
It was so nice and had such a great view that it made our time there a huge part of the reason our vacation was as fantastic as it was! It was our first time to Hawaii and my wife and I have agreed that when we go back we're staying there again. It was furnished with everything we would ever need and more. My wife is a chef and loves to cook and she made almost every meal we ate there which saved us a lot of money. We sat on the deck and ate every meal. It was absolutely perfect for us!

GREAT Unit!! Would stay here again in a heartbeat
Our family of 4 (2 adult, 14 & 6 year olds) was able to comfortably stay in this 1-bedroom/1-bath unit for 2 weeks from the end of June until mid-July, and not once did we turn on the A/C! The breeze and the fact that the unit isn't hit by the sun until the late afternoon and at sunset, kept everything nice and temperate (low-mid 70's, a bit cooler at night). So long as you don't mind a howl of wind every now and then, there's no need to use the A/C. Even better than that though, the lanai (balcony)! Aside from being able to watch the sunset every night and listening to the waves while we slept, anytime we wanted to use the pool, all we had to do was walk out to the lanai, look down below, and see how crowded it was (usually there was less than 6 people or so in the pool). Plus, our 14 year-old enjoyed being able to go to the pool by herself to relax, swim, and get some time away from us (which we felt more than comfortable doing because we could always see the pool at all times). The same goes for the grills, whenever we wanted to grill, all we had to do was look down below to see if one was available (you might have to wait if you want a grill between 6-7pm, so plan ahead!). Speaking of the lanai, we saw countless turtles (probably the same ones over and over again), but that was extremely cool, our 6-year old LOVED IT! On top of all that, we went to numerous beaches throughout West Maui and this location was IDEAL. No beach in West Maui was more than a 10-12 minute drive, either to the north, or the south, EXTREMELY CONVENIENT!! Lahaina town was anywhere from a 15-20 minute drive depending on where you were going. THANK YOU for letting our family stay in your unit and helping make our Maui vacation truly amazing and memorable. We'd definitely stay here again!! Nick & Family

AMAZING CONDO
The unit is incredible and describe exactly as is! The view is just so good. You can see sea turtles from the balcony. Check in was the easiest thing ever. The unit is located in a great area. The condo had any extras you could need and was located very close to a market and I get anything else you could want or need. Definitely would stay here again! Mahalo!

Piece of paradise
This property was one of the most accurately described and photographed in my VRBO experience. The amazing photos you see are exactly what you will step into when you arrive. The ocean sounds and views are mesmerizing, and being at this location is sure to melt all your stress and worries away. It was hard to leave not only Maui but the condo itself. Our vacation in this condo will be very hard to beat. I would recommend this place to all and hope to stay there again.

Wonderful unit with probably the best and most attentive owners we’ve had in 12 years staying on Maui. Office staff so kind and accommodating, made us feel like family. The views of the breaching whales and sunsets. Pristine barbecues cleaned daily. Only criticisms are the kitchen could have a few more pans and bowls since we opted to stay in and cook every night- but understand that most people don’t! Also, construction next door that started at 8AM was annoying and will probably go on for a while but it seems there’s always construction anywhere we stay on Maui. Overall 5 stars.

Breathe of Fresh Air!
Absoluletly loved this condo! I was concerned at first but all those concerns went away as soon as I opened the front door. The views are AMAZING! we were able to see whales and hear the waves at night. The condo was clean and worked great for our family of 5, 2 adults and 3 kids. They did not want to leave at all! There was a huge power outage while we were there due to winds, so I would suggest some flashlights but other that. I would stay here again in a heart beat! lol we didnt want to leave :)

Amazing sunset views!
Shelly and Dan are extremely responsive to any needs or questions about their gorgeous condo. We enjoyed beautiful views from the balcony every day, watching giant sea turtles during the day and sunsets at night. It's less than 20 minutes drive from everything to do in West Maui and a 5 minute walk to the best sushi in town (Miso Phat). Since we couldn't be home for Christmas this year, it was the best distraction from missing family that we could have asked for!

My mom & I had a wonderful experience in Maui. Plenty of food options within 15 min or less of the RK resort. Look forward to staying here again but hopefully we use the coolers, chairs, snorkels & other misc water items the next time around. 🤙🏽Mahalo🤙🏽

A perfect spot for perfect sunsets
We could not be more pleased with our stay. The ocean view and watching sunsets while sitting on the lanai were amazing. The unit is well appointed and the bed is large and comfy. I only wish we could have stayed longer!
