"The site and staff are excellent. My only reason for not giving a 5 star on the area is that my room/cabin was very close to the main road I being a very light sleeper my nights were disturbed. If you don’t have a problem with noise at night then I don’t think you would have a problem. I would stay again but probably try to stay further away from the boundary. "

"This location is right across from the beach and very walkable to town. Though the studio is a bit small, it was nice to have the kitchenette facilities which even included a two burner plug in cooktop. The bed and pillows were excellent. A few problems with the drains in the shower and sink but the management was aware of it and has been trying to get a plumber out to fix it. It would have been nice to know this before check in as the shower almost overflowed onto the bathroom floor. Nevertheless, this accommodation was a good choice for a stay in Kaikoura."

"This property did not clearly state that it was a shared kitchen and bathroom. Being in my first trimester of pregnancy with bad morning sickness, sharing a bathroom would have been unfair for everyone staying at the property. We were shocked when we arrived to realise we would be sharing one bathroom (with both toilet and shower in the one room) with 5 other parties. "
