Watch the Yellow Tangs up against the lava rocks every morning and if you’re lucky you also see spinning dolphins (we saw them twice around 7:15 am, as well as 2 years ago). I love to snorkel and you can walk 10 mins to Kahalu’u for the biggest variety of fish you will see anywhere on the island (2 steps is a 30 min drive, which I recommend, but not as varied). "This beautiful home a little over 1 mile to downtown Kailua Kona was chosen for our annual family gathering- this year 12 of us. Pros: It was perfect for walks to the beach (Kailua Bay) and town, running along Ali’i drive, and picking up groceries. The 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms provided great private space.
