"Very nice hotel with a good view of Tongariro National park. There’s no AC in the rooms so it can get pretty stuffy unless you open the windows. But it gets chilly in the night so kinda evens out. And if you step outside in the night you get a very good view of the stars."

"We loved it, the lake views are amazing from lounge & the bedroom, the split level was a bonus (room7) it was so serene, the restaurant meals were delicious, best eye fillet steak 😋 We wished we booked longer. Managers were very friendly and gave us good tips. Highly recommend "

"Pretty lodge - just as it looked in the photos. Rooms clean, comfortable and well appointed. Staff really friendly and helpful with planning our trip and transferring luggage. We enjoyed the garden area too. "

"The 6 bedroom room, was just big enough for us. The room was quickly warmed up by the heatpump. The kitchen was well setup and the fridges were perfect to keep our food fresh. Oh, and the breakfast was just what we needed to start the day"
