"We were really happy with our stay here. The cabin was really clean and tidy and the bed was comfy. The curtains were nice and thick, too, for the early sunrise. The price seemed quite a lot for a simple cabin with no ensuite or kitchen, but I guess that is just Rotorua in the summer. Otherwise we were very happy."

"Rooms were what you would expect for the price its just a shame check in was outrageous we had to wait until abou 4pm before we could check in to our room and our daughter had two rooms and they had to wait even longer, they were given drinks vouchers but still not good enough. We had a early arrival (5.30am) and asked if we could have an early check in and were turned away and told to come back at our check in time, so we did . "Check-in and staff were nice, room was fine, the bathroom was weird but not gross (had a jet bathtub -hot tub?) in it. I wouldn’t use it, but others may find it fine. Seemed to be things for kids to do, close to the tree walk. Good: quiet, full on stuff to make meals, you could park right by room (like a motel). Not as good: just a bit old. But it was fine"

"The property was perfect for a small family with a nice living area, small kitchen and a beautiful patio overlooking the channel. The outdoors, the beach and the restaurant were really good. However, there was a constant pungent smell in the room which refused to go away even after keeping the doors open and spraying a lot of room freshener. If not for the smell, this property would be perfect to stay in Rotorua. Note that the smell is not the Rotorua smell that everyone complains about. The...
