"We loved our time here at the Effala suite. It was located right in the middle of the heart of Colmar so lots to see and do outside but there was a nice quiet courtyard inside the gate when you wanted to get away from the crowds. I picked this place for the views out the windows and that did not disappoint. We stayed there early May, so it wasn’t too hot without air conditioning, but may be a factor at other times of year. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again....

"We were met by the owner who showed us around the property and was very helpful and friendly about the property but also the area and places to visit. We all had a great 6 days there and saw some really good sites. Thoroughly recomend thie house and the area."

"Stayed for a week in this lovely flat on the Rue du Rempart in Eguisheim during the last week of September. Very well equipped and cosy feel in a perfect location for access to the Centre of this lovely village. The flat was spotlessly clean and the owner met us with the keys and explained anything we needed to know. The new wine festival started our week well and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Family Lach who let the property responded promptly to any of our emails and questions when...

"Emplacement super, à 2 pas du lac, coin vraiment agréable, avec beaucoup de charme. Je regrette que l appartement soit vétuste sur bebeaucoup de points ( prises de courant qui fonctionnent que si la lumière est allumée, aspirateur en kit, tuyau de douche qui fuit, patère qui s est decrochée dès qu on y a mis une serviette...). Dommage car l ensemble avait l air sympa."

"A very nice location (except for parking- though public parking doable) Unfortunately communication with owner was difficult as everything they wrote was in French- so some confusion as to their expectations for our responsibilities. Would be great if Vrbo could provide a translation service. Also, your age bracket is very broad with only having adults 18+. Senior citizens might have a separate category as their needs might be different."

"Easy walk to local sites, shops and restaurants. The apartment was quaint and located in a historic house. Stephanie was very helpful and attentive. We tried 4 of her 5 restaurant recommendations. Each one was an excellent dining experience. We had an excellent 8 day stay. The steep stairs would prevent this being a good selection for people with mobility issues. Clean and welcoming."

"I spent too many hours trying to the find the right city and place to stay in Alsace. My family and I were so happy that we booked Nathalie and Emmanual’s apartment. It was quite lovely- both inside and out and Nathalie and Emmanual were so welcoming. Location: absolutely perfect! In the heart of Kayserberg right below the castle and close to restaurants, etc. Loved the view of the castle from the deck and being able to hike to the castle and in the forest right out the front door....

"Dans l'ensemble le sejour s'est bien passé malgré une météo exécrable et l'absence de neige. Grosse et mauvaise surprise à la fin de séjour (du lundi din d'après-midi au jeudi 11h00), supplément de 60 euros (+ de 10 %en plus de la location) pour le chauffagau gaz. Et nous avons eu froid dans la salle à manger alors que la température extérieure n'est pas descendue en dessous de 8 degrés. Je n'ose imaginer en cas de gel. Heureusement 50 euros d'électricité était compris dans le prix de la...
