"A friendly atmosphere on arrival. Booked in and offered evening table booking and choice of breakfast timings, 0700-1000. Good menu choices, including vegetarian. Lovely full English breakfast. Louis was great. Room was very nice apart from a musty smell that was attributed to bed cushions - once removed all was well with open windows to air the room. All in all, a good stay and would use again."

However the accommodation wing had hints of 1970s with roof tiled halls , diy tiled bathroom ( dangerously sharp edges), dated furniture and an uncomfortable bed with people shaped hollows. Excellent service and a fine dining experience was a highlight. "
