"It is certainly a cabin in the quiet woods which you would normally find in northern Vermont. We loved everything about it. My Three Sons grew up tent camping in the Yale Forest and this was that, only with a log cabin replacing Eureka tents! We loved sitting around the massive firepit and feeding the flames with plenty of seasoned, dry hardwood, cooking several meals on the coals with pie irons and steak prongs. Just loved it. "

"We had a GREAT time here!! Just beautiful scenery all around. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed essentially. I was quite impressed with how comfortable we actually were. There was a temporary power outage but it didn’t last long and management not only delivered more wood to us but also gave it to us for free as we wanted to spend our time outdoors during the outage. Im super happy to have had this experience and would absolutely be doing it again!! Thank you Postcard...

It was awesome to have a private beach access even though we couldn’t get in the water, but it was great for strolls and shell collecting. "We were in town for a wedding with small children in tow- the house was perfectly located for us to get to wedding events in under 10 minutes but do be aware that it’s on a busy road. The house is set back so there wasn’t too much traffic noise, especially with the window AC units going. You could walk to the beach, but be aware that it’s down the busy road as someone else mentioned. It wasn’t luxurious, but everything was clean and comfortable. "This is absolutely the best hotel I’ve stayed at in my entire 67 years. The room was exceptionally clean, and there was absolutely none of the “hotel room smell” we all know about. I was astounded by the cleanliness and freshness of the room. The bedding was clean and fresh. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The towels were quite rough on the skin I mean REALLY rough. I found myself wishing I had brought my own. Parking wasn’t bad. There’s a pedestrian walkway going from the parking lot (across the street) to the hotel. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anybody. These people are doing it right. It was a pleasure to stay here."
