When we got there there was mouse droppings everywhere, over all the cutlery, stove, piles in the living room couch and carpet…way more than seemed possible if the places had been cleaned in the last 5 days (we cleaned it all when we arrived and didn’t see any new droppings over the next 2 days). "A lovely cottage and a super spot. The house has amazing views over the lake for bedrooms and living spaces. A great seating area with fire pit close to the shore was well used and we managed to explore the lake in the canoes provided in the garage. There are no children’s buoyancy aids so best bring your own to avoid some upset little ones. "

The host was so great with communication and made sure we were able to get in and didn’t need anything else. I loved the little binder of FYIs about the cottage - made it easy for us. "Three generation of our family really enjoyed our cottage stay. The cottage was well appionted, the access to the lake was easy for all ages and the outdoor space amazing. We only had one rainy day which took us into Gravenhurst for their great famers market; wonderful straberries and corn! Cara was a very attentive host and was quick to respond to any questions we had. Would definetly recommend Richview to other families."
