"Short walk to the lake, short drive to a supermarket, and cafes. Our host Dorothy was excellent to deal with. We had a bit of luggage to unpack and carry to the rear of the property..two young men living in the main house came to rescue and helped out. Thanks!! "

"The property was perfect for us all to get to know one another. We came from Auckland and Palmerston North and met in the middle. It was a perfect weekend.Just a couple of things that needed attention The drain by the flat downstairs was blocked and therefore we were unable to use.The oven trays we soaked in the bath before scrubbing so we could use that night.All in all we had a fantastic time and will use again."

"The apartment was a bit smaller than it looked in the photos, however it was very clean and within walking distance of the town centre which was great. Additionally, having an off road parking space was really useful. The downside was the noisy neighbours, particularly the upstairs neighbours who were loud throughout the night making it difficult to get a good nights sleep."
