"Stayed in small camping pod and loved it. Loved the atmosphere there. Overall, much greater than I expected, and I already was excited for the stay. the restaurant overlooking the waterfalls and river, the troll garden stroll, the hot tubs. All superb. It is in a remote area and provided us an excellent view of the northern lights, which we watched from the hot tub. Ideal experience, I recommend giving it a shot. "

"If you book here, you will receive check in instructions via email - which likely will go to your spam, so check there! I didn't and ended up disturbing a lovely woman and her very cute dog around 9pm because we didn't know how to check in. When we got into the cabin, we were happy with it and it was comfortable. My only recommendation is to have a shade on the bathroom window because the decorative curtain didn't necessarily give enough privacy for me. I would definitely recommend this...

"We had the best 5 nights at Versalir, perfect location for adventuring around the southern part of the island - essentially an hour drive to everything you could want. The cabin is SO warm and welcoming and hosts friendly and helpful. The pictures on the listing are a little outdated - the shower room has been modernised for example, but if anything it is better than shown. Can’t wait to return!"

"The link with all of the information wasn't working, and the hot pot didn't get used because of the broken link. Otherwise, the location was perfect for the southeast part of the Golden Circle, it was an easy drive from the airport/capital, and we saw some excellent Northern lights from the deck! "

"This cottage is well placed for exploring the west of Iceland, with Snaefellsness Penisula, Reykjavik and the golden circle route all within easy driving distance. Shopping and cafes can be found in Borgarnes, about 10 minutes drive away. It also provides a good view to the north and west in the event of Northern Lights. The cottage is well appointed, although it's worth noting the stairs are quite steep which may pose a problem for some. The only two drawbacks of the cottage 1) the double bed...

"Just spent a week at the cabin with my family of 4 (kids are 12 and 15). The cabin had everything you’d need for a family trip. Loved having the sauna and hot tub after chilly days seeing the sights. Jon checked in with me right away to make sure we got in ok (we did!). Highly recommend this cabin!"

"Loved the place! Super great location and setup. I was disappointed not all the bed had sheets and they forgot to give us a crib. Owner was quick to fix it. The gate is annoying, but it is an all of Iceland thing"
