"Front desk staff were extremely courteous, provided us with a map and some ideas for shopping and dining nearby (though prepare yourself for the price of dining out in Switzerland generally). During my family’s 2 week European trip, Central Hotel Post had the most comfy beds of our entire vacation, and the strongest water pressure of any shower I have ever seen (always a pleasant surprise, in my book). Our 3 rooms were spacious and very clean, we had windows that opened up to the square below, and some of the beautiful mountains surrounding, and there was an elevator/lift; we rented a car and there seemed to be no on-site parking for the hotel but we found a parking garage close by that was free on Sundays (hotel staff also gave us other options). Chur is a bit of a sleepy town so very quiet and walkable. We had a short stay and breakfast was pretty good for that period, not overwhelming variety but enjoyable nonetheless. We stayed here for an overnight before catching the Bernina Express the next morning and it is a very short distance to the train station (and the Europcar rent-a-car next door). I’d be happy to recommend this hotel to family and friends who hope to do something similar in future."

"The all-in-one hotel is a short drive to the Celerina Gondola. We used it on a ski trip. They have assigned lockers for ski equipment, a good breakfast bar, and offer meals with a limited menu. It was reasonably priced compared to other options. The laundry machines were free. The interior is stark, with bare concrete walls and hard floors. We would stay there again."

"Clean and nice hotel with all you need. A big Migros is nearby which is convenient. Bars and restaurants/ski lift are 2-3 stops away by shuttle."

"I had the best 5 day stay at mountain plaza in Davos. Before arriving I had requested to cancel a day for a refund as my plans changed. I called the front desk and had a lovely conversation with Fabio. This was a bit of foreshadowing to my stay. I arrived from Zurich and was delighted to discover it was just a few minutes from Davosnplatz train station, surrounded by shopping, dinning and entertainment, steps away from the ski hill jacobshorn. Greeted by Lorena, and again the hospitality was amazing, another lovely conversation. Lorena always greeted me throughout the reminder of my stay, which made it feel like my home in Davos. The room itself was perfect and the amenities were completely satisfying. I enjoyed breakfast every morning with a varied selection and stunning view of the mountains. My favourite was the fully stocked gym with as much equipment as I have at my gym in Toronto. This was easily one of the best vacations of my life and it would not have been the same without mountain plaza and its staff "
