"I have stayed at the resort the year before and enjoyed the hotel. We like the cottages because they are close to the beach. The music can be load especially when the fire show is on. We can usually sleep thru anything but it could be an issue for people looking for a quiet room. The music shuts off at 11 to 11:30 at night. The food was ok not spectacular. There are alot of good restaurants along the beach. The beach is a very nice white sand and the swimming was great. The entertainment was good. North american music mostly and they did have a great saxophone player that played throughout the day. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close walk to the small town where other services and bike rentals are. If you want a quieter afternoon you can rent a bike and tour other beaches on the island They have been doing modernization and upkeep on the hotel. We would stay again "

"I cannot be more satisfied about my stay at Miss Hong House. The location is very convenient at walking distance to the high street and lovely Thai food places.Taxis and motorcycles at available at the House or within 10 min walks.I have been to beautiful several beaches in less than 30 min drive from the House which is very clean and silent. And not the least..A very warm and big appreciation to May who is running the house but also helping you in a Thai manner (it says it all) may you have any questions or doubts. Try her coffee too. Boyfriend is very kind and helpful too and the kind and friendly cleaning lady make sure that your room is always in a pristine condition.Thank you so much May for everything, Thank you very much to the 3 of us for making my first stay in the island a total success. "Beautiful sleepy resort on a serene beach. Don't book a hotel on Saikaew beach, it's busy and noisy. I spent 5 happy days rejuvenating at this resort. I still miss it 3 weeks later. I'm dreaming of my beach hut."
