Delightful Historic Cottage Steps from Poipu/Brennecke's Beaches A/C

Just steps from Poipu Beach and Brennecke’s Beach, this is an original plantation-style cottage, lovingly renovated and beautifully appointed. It features a new fully-equipped kitchen with granite counters, new bath plus an outdoor shower, two bedrooms, screened lanai, and landscaped garden. Its high ceilings, giant airy windows, island furnishings and tropical ceiling fans in each room give you the feeling of 'paradise of old.'

The home is in a charming beachfront neighborhood on a quiet street. Stroll to Brennecke’s Beach, famous for its perfect boogie boarding waves, or Poipu Beach, which, with calmer water and beautiful snorkeling, is always rated one of the top ten Hawaii beaches. Everything Poipu has to offer is a beautiful walk away on either the Koloa Heritage Trial or the Poipu Kai Greenbelt. This is includes restaurants, shopping, adventure outfitters, tennis courts, pickle courts, playground, and, of course, those beautiful beaches. Two great golf courses are just a mile’s drive.

A PERFECT POIPU DAY

Awake to the sounds of palm fronds and waves, and enjoy coffee on the screened lanai.

Grab your snorkel and walk to Poipu Beach to enjoy the morning fish in the warm calm waters.

Play a round of golf or join in a tennis clinic at one of the beautiful facilities near the cottage. Then sit down for a patio lunch at a local cafe.

Walk to Nukomoi’s to rent stand-up paddleboards and try this new favorite sport. Or take boogie boards from the cottage to try the waves at Brennecke’s.

Crawl onto a chaise in the garden for a few pages of your book and a nap.

Prepare a tropical salad in the fully-equipped gourment kitchen, grill fish from the Koloa Fish Market under the pergola, and relax on the garden patio with wine from The Wine Shop in Koloa.

Sleep peacefully in your Tommy Bahama king bed with luxurious sheets, while dreaming of the next day's adventures.

Poipu perfection
We have been staying in Poipu since 1972. This cottage was by far the most charming and comfortable spot we’ve been to. It’s in the heart of poipu beach but feels very quiet and secluded. The amenities are outstanding and we can’t wait to return!

Beautiful cottage
Enjoyed our time here at the cottage so much! Our favorite part was listening to the ocean from the lanai. I can hear it now. Everything went well, although I will say the television needs updating in the living area and master bedroom as well as the baby pack and play chair. Overall, these elements did not ruin our stay at all and I appreciate the quick response from the property manager when addressing any issues. Hopefully they can make the updates. Will definitely be back again!

Perfect Poipu Cottage!
Our family loved our trip. The owner was great with communication and every detail was thought out - from the great stocked (and modern) kitchen, grill and outdoor dining, lovely lanai with fan where we spent so much time, outdoor shower and beautiful decor, we were so happy. And we loved we could walk to the beaches, Puka dog, and other restaurants. Would definitely return!

We really enjoyed this property and location. We just wish we could have stayed longer.
Pam and Gabby were fantastic hosts. The property is clean and kept in excellent repair. We really enjoyed walking to the beach in the morning and in the evenings. If you are looking for a peaceful place to relax the cottage should be on your list.

Unbeatable location, Old Hawaii Feel
We loved this little cottage. It has the feel of a traditional, simple, yet very well appointed beach house. Our family of 3 (and a 4th for the last couple days of our trip) had plenty of room and one bathroom worked just fine. The screened in porch was great for early mornings and evenings hanging out. Plenty of beach toys and a handy wagon to tote them the 1 1/2 blocks to two beach options. Great place to stay!

Property was even better than advertised. Highly recommend esp for boogie boarding, beach activities. Loved the outdoor shower! House is great. Spent one whole day just relaxing on property itself. Neighborhood was quiet and worked out well, some rentals and some local residents and a good balance of each with a pleasant vibe. Host expectations were friendly and communicated clearly. We were grateful for their logistics support for checking in and out and the rental really made our stay in Kauai special. :)
