"Our first visit to Kona Village for our babymoon and it far exceeded our expectations. Gracious check-in with the bonus of our room being available early and upgraded. Personal touches for our special trip - baby bump pillow for sleeping, little gifts, regular acknowledgement of our celebration. The hotel itself is stunning. Never felt crowded, even during Easter weekend. The hales (single building accommodation) are private, quiet, and chicly appointed. They do a great job at adding little complimentary elements to the trip - Friday afternoon pizza pop up on their garden, golden hour wine and cheese, coconuts by the pool on Saturday etc. Highly recommend Paniolo Night on a Thursday - ticket includes huge spread of raw, barbecued, shaken and poured. Plus some authentic Hawaiian cowboy entertainment. We are already anticipating a return to Kona Village, where we know we will enjoy it just as much with a baby as on our own. I have my eye on their praised sushi night at the shipwreck bar. "

"IT WAS AN AWESOME WEEKEND. WEATHER WAS PERFECT. GOLF AT WAIKALOA VILLAGE & HUALALAI WAS WELL WORTH THE TRIP. THE VRBO PLACE WAS PERFECT, CLEAN & NO HASSLE. BESIDES THE SMOKE ALARM BLARING FROM THE INSIDE WHEN WE GOT THERE, IT WAS A GREAT STAY. THE BEDS & LIVINGROOM COUCH WERE COMFORTABLE. NEIGHBORHOOD WAS QUIET. I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN. "

"We loved our stay at Holua resort. Although when we arrived the only thing we could say about the property in a negative way was the floors weren’t super clean. That’s not really a huge deal but for some people it could be. Now let’s talk about the positives. The staff was amazing. They were quick to respond when we needed new towels and stuff for the dish washer and washing machine. The grounds were fun to walk around and see the different types of trees and plants. It was nice to have the signs that pointed out what type of foliage they were. It was nice to be able to open up the blinds and be able to look out so many windows. One thing we didn’t realize was that the kitchen was up on the second floor, along with a half bathroom upstairs for those sleeping on the pullout couch. That was a bonus that we didn’t realize the unit had available. If we were pickle ballers, this would have been the place to play because there was always somebody playing. Being so close to a golf course and the harbor that does tours to see the manta rays is also an added bonus. We would def stay here again and hope to soon in the future. "

"Our 7-day stay was everything we hoped for. We enjoyed all the amenities, the treats/snacks and most of all the privacy. After a day in town or at the beach, it was wonderful to be up in the hills to relax on the lanai. Amanda and Michael are first-class hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend The Lookout Ohana to anyone visiting the Kona area."

"I love everything about this property. It is so close to grocery store, beach, and what the property has to offer. I can't believe how close we are to the manta ray activities. we were also able to see the whale from our patio. It is nice and clean and spacious. "
