"I had a great stay at Minshuku Manten! The place is nice, quiet, & clean. They serve a lovely breakfast & the host is extremely nice. In regards to convenience, it’s 5 mins to the bus stop. But nothing is super convenient in Yakushima if you don’t have a car. Would recommend this place ☺️ "

"This part of Yakushima is pretty empty. Do your research first!! Bring food. And most restaurants in the area are cash only. Overall beautiful location with a nice private beach! "
