Glass House Getaway- 3 Minutes to Gunstock & Pet Friendly!

This mountain getaway offers an array of amenities to make your stay memorable! Features include an open floor plan, large private yard, five bedrooms, two full bathrooms, large deck, tons of natural light, in house washer and dryer, solarium and parking for 6 cars in a private driveway.

All bed linens and towels are provided. Cook in our well equipped kitchen or outdoors on the grill. Enjoy coffee in the solarium and cocktails on the deck or sitting out by the fire pit. Ping pong table and giant connect four for the kids. Cornhole boards and beach toys also available for guests. Large private yard with plenty of space for lawn games. Gorgeous views of the Ossipee Mountain range and Lake Winnipesauke!

**This house only has AC in four of the five bedrooms, please read the listing completely! There is no AC in the common areas, there is a ceiling fan and/or oscillating fan in each room

Great Family Getaway

The Glass House was the perfect location for our family getaway. Plenty of bedrooms, comfortable areas to relax and unwind after skiing, and provided everything we needed. The proximity to Gunstock attracted us in the first place but the comfort and convenience of the house will bring us back!

Great place for family and friends

This was a great house for our family and friends for a ski weekend. Plenty of rooms in the house, and the kids loved all the fun things to do (ping pong, giant connect four, etc). Great location.

Gunstock Getaway

Stayed for a weekend and it was amazing. House and host were very accommodating, gunstock mountain was also right next door. Host reached out making the process easy and also offered us a late checkout due to the snow storm. I recommend you book this over the others in the area.

A Great Place to Spend a Weekend

The six of us spent the weekend playing board games and sleeping in comfortable beds. The space is roomy with plenty of furniture to fit a group or family. The yard is pleasant with a fire ring and chairs. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at the glass house! It was big and bright and a comfortable place to be and relax in. We stayed with 6 adults and two children and there were enough beds/rooms for all! Location was easy to and from. We enjoyed all the activities and dining options to choose from near by. Our dogs loved it too!

The house was exactly as advertised with an abundance of space for the entire family. There were even added perks that we didn’t realize until arriving such as a regulation size cornhole set, games in the cupboards as well as some books and an outdoor life size connect four. The full kitchen had everything we needed and we were entertained the entire time we were there. We will definitely be returning for another stay!

Unique house layout . Great space

A cozy home a few minutes from Gunstock

We had a small group of family members stay at the Glass house for a late Christmas celebration. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us to gather together and also to have some privacy as well. We spent a few days skiing and snow tubing at Gunstock mountain and it was extremely convenient being so close. We were able to drive just a few min back to the house to rest and dry off before heading back to the mountain. The house is also close to many hiking trails as well.

The property was beautiful. The house was the perfect size for everyone and our 2 dogs. The road was a little busier than we had hoped, so wasn't able to let the dogs off the leads, which was fine. When we arrived, the dish washer was full as well as the washer and dryer, so just had to put things away before we could use them. Overall, had a great time!

Fun home in Gilford

This was our first time to the area, and the house was a great place to stay. It’s only a few minutes from Gunstock, groceries, etc. really beautiful area! Meghan is really helpful, and extremely easy to communicate with. The home has all the essentials you need. It’s a really unique layout— I can see larger family gatherings really loving the space. The yard is also really nice— with a great fire pit, deck, etc. if we are back in the area again, we wouldn’t hesitate staying here!

Beautiful home and area.

The house was very clean, accomodating and large. The layout is awesome and very unique. So many windows and views of the sky, no wonder its called the glass house. Thanks for allowing us to stay. The owner is very easy to communicate with. Its on the same road as gunstock resort. Def worth the rental. Highly recommended.

Beautiful property but..

The property itself was beautiful gorgeous view. The inside of the house was clean. The only negative things were that it was extremely cold in the house, and the little heaters that were provided, and some of the rooms were not effective enough. The other thing is that the beds were extremely hard for all of us and uncomfortable. I think if they just added mattress toppers, and some additional heating elements place would have five stars.

Happy Place

There’s a sign in the kitchen that says “Our Happy Place.” The rooms were spacious, beds were comfy, we had a nice lunch and dinner prepared from the fully equipped kitchen, dogs can easily access fenced(?) deck from the living room while we all played games(host provided). Coming from the city, we all felt very close to nature because of it’s location and view from kitchen, dining and family room. Even our dog didn’t want to leave the front yard while on a long lead. Megan was the perfect host! Communication was flawless and she even allowed us to stay beyond check out time . Oh, and it’s so close to Gunstock and many more attractions which we hope to see more of next time. We plan to keep coming back and make it our family’s “happy place!” Thank you!!!

Son’s wedding

My son got married in Laconia, only 8 miles away. The house is easy to find, off the highway, and tons of parking. Fully equipped kitchen and out door grill made it easy to cook for rehearsal dinner! The owners even had dog crates and dog bowls waiting for our furry family members. Even with one AC on the 3rd floor, there was plenty of fans to keep the house comfortable! The open concept was perfect for air flow and acoustics. Laundromat made it easy to wash sheets for our revolving door, with people staying on different nights. To top it all off…. There was ping pong table and life size connect-4 to keep us entertained. We would definitely stay again, hopefully less hectic!!

Spectacular!

We enjoyed a wonderful week with room (and beds) for all! The house was perfectly clean and well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The well-tended, terraced front yard is shielded from the street and features a rustic fire pit and an elevated large porch with grill and seating area, where we did most of our cooking. The entry level has a nice working kitchen that opens up to a spacious eating area and (our favorite) sun room! The second floor has a full living room, additional dining table and chairs (6) perfect for games or listening to music, 3 bedrooms (full, 2-twins, single twin) and bathroom, half flight up is another full bedroom, and on the top floor is the master king bedroom with sitting room overlooking the yard and the mountains beyond. On a clear day you can see a slice of the lake. The laundry was a great benefit! Lots of little extras like night lights, first aid kit, and provided linens made it so easy. Garbage pick up (no trip to the dump) was awesome. We were delighted and would definitely recommend and stay again ourselves. Convenient to grocery stores, outlets, Ellacoya State Park/Beach and Weirs Beach/FunSpot for the one rainy day.
