"We loved staying at the Ngongotaha Cottage. Just a short 5min drive past the Skyline/Luge - it was still close to everything we needed, without being amongst the hustle and bustle. The owners gave us plenty of privacy, the spa pool was amazing and the cottage was so nicely presented. Great little cottage and we would easily book in again for all of our annual Rotorua visits for sports."

"No cooktop, no freezer compartment to keep ice blocks cold. No top sheet on either single bed, light over bathroom sink does not work, windows were filthy inside and out, floor between toilet and wall was dirty, no hand towel or face cloth provided. Only wine glasses provided for drinks. Only one mirror in unit, none in bedrooms. We can’t believe this place meets even minimum standards for guest accommodations. Only one tea towel provided, hot plate had no instructions and only Chinese labels...

"We enjoyed our stay in this property once the check in issues were sorted out. Book-a-bach dropped the ball with check-in which took over 2hrs and was not complete until the next morning. Having said that, all the issues we encountered were not the fault of the house, so as long as Book-a-Bach sorts these, then I would highly recommend this home. It is a good size, even with just 2 bedrooms, we had 4 adults and 4 kids (sleeping in the lounge on the couches) and it didn't feel too small, AMAZING...
