Fabulous family retreat!
I had family from Europe and across Canada join for the stay. We have rented many VRBO homes and this is our favourite yet! Lots of things to do for kids of all ages and adults too. The house is so well stocked with everything you would need for a few days away. Communication with the owners was fabulous. My family is looking forward to going here again.

Overall our stay at Casa Mariposa was a tremendous experience. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a quite location in a nice area for a relaxing stay. The hot tub was wonderful to relax in, the house itself was beautifully maintained and comfortable for everyone.

Terrific Long Weekend
Our family had a terrific time at this beautiful property. It had everything we needed from the outdoors to the kitchen to the entertainment area. The kitchen was very well-equipped with everything you needed to make a gourmet meal. Hot tub area, fire pit and trampoline were definitely a hit. We had one rainy night so we could take advantage of the game in the basement, including Foosball and Pac-Man machine in the basement, as well as the home theatre. Property is very well-maintained. Cops Communication with Ricardo and Angelo was excellent.and they were very responsive. Ipperwash Beach is about 10 minutes away, as was Grand Bend. Wonderful stay and we will definitely return. We were there during the September long weekend, but I’m sure a winter stay would also be great as they have a heat lamp In the hot tub area..

A cottage feel with 5 star home experience
My family and I loved staying at Casa Mariposa! This place had it all. Felt like we were staying a spacious cottage with all the amenities you’d love to have at your fingertips. The private backyard was our favourite spot to hang out between our short trips the beach and shopping along the Grand Bend strip. Loved hanging out in the hot tub and having night time fires around the fire pit. But of course we also loved the games room in their modern updated basement. This place had everything you’d want to have available to you at home during your stay, while still feeling like you’re having a great cottage experience. Do yourself a favour and check the place out. Thank you Angela and Ricardo!! Great job.

The cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood not far from the Pinery and Grand Bend. The cottage was very clean and had all the amenities you could hope for! A great family vacation spot!

We were a group of 7 attending a family reunion in the area...5 adults and 2 children.This lovely property is just as described and pictured only BETTER! Right from the beginning, Ricardo was professional, always responded quickly to any questions and showed genuine concern that we had the best experience possible. The home itself is open, bright and spacious. Downstairs is large with a bedroom, bathroom, great games area and a TV lounging spot. Outside is a gem...private with tree lined yard and a child's dream backyard complete with trampoline, play structure, swing.....The adults enjoyed the fire pit, large deck with BBQ and of course hot tub.The whole place was extremely clean and well kept. We will be back only for longer next visit! Thank you Angela and Ricardo.

Incredible experience in casa mariposa
Casa mariposa is the perfect stay if you are looking for an incredible experience, if you are looking to be outside or inside this is the house for you. Starting with the hosts, they are always in touch with you making sure everything is ready for your arrival, they are so welcoming and warm. The house is always in pristine condition and all the amenities are ready for you to use, from minute 1 that you step foot inside. They have all the games imaginable (indoor and outdoor) for you to have an incredible stay. I just wish I had more time to stay in there :D Overall it was a 15/10 experience. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at this very lovely house. It did not disappoint the beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything you needed, the game’s room/screening room was a very nice touch. I enjoyed a hot tub before retiring for the night. The back deck and fire pit provided a great space to spend time outdoors.

such an amazing place, very clean and spacious. we loved every minute at this place especially the basement with all the fun stuffs to play as a family and not to mention the hot tub in the back patio. this place is great for kids and adults, my 2 year old son was loving the backyard space and trampoline. Ricardo and Angela was super nice and pleasant to deal with. very close to pinery provincial park as well. the place is well maintained, arranged and loved the attention to detail at this place. Beautiful property inside and out. We had rainy weather the whole time so we never got to enjoy the fire pit who h we were looking forward to doing. We made the best of it with lots of hotbtub time and enjoying the fantastic game room. The only negatove thing is the the deck and stairs outside were very slippery when they are wet. I would highly recommend thos property!

A perfect 5 star weekend getaway
The process was very smooth.the host respond right away check in was easy and smooth. Ricardo provided step by step of check in and check. About the property the house was beautiful decorated very nice super clean and modern. They have provided everything you can imagine there was nothing I can think of that was missing in the kitchen from appliances to plates and cooking. There was pool and football table and the bonus a Pacman arcade machine. The host put a lot of effort to make the stay very enjoyable there were many different board games a work/kids room with books they even provided a pass for the park. Linen towels everything clean and tidy. The outside was even nicer seating area BBQ hot tub play area for kids and also fire pit sitting area. I have stayed in different cottages but I have to say this was a perfect cottage to spend time with friends and family. Is 15 min From Grand Bend. You have to stay here for sure Thank you Ricardo

Perfect place to stay for a couple or family
Perfect place to stay. Quiet, peaceful and all the privacy you want. The hot tub is a perfect touch to relax after your day of traveling. Great touch leaving a park pass as the beach was lovely. What you see in the picture and read in the information is exactly what you get. The hosts were awesome always there to help and give suggestions for things to do. We would definitely come back.
