"this property was beautiful and in a great location, but it was rented bc of my grand daughter's wedding was being held in Kingston. As normal we had contracted professionals come in for make up and hair etc. You can imagine the stress I was caused when.... during the middle of the reception dinner at Fort Henry I get a call demading $300 more on top of the already exorbitant costs and bc of the people coming and going. The house rules were ridiculous, for example.... .don't touch the AC,...

"This place was exactly as advertised. It’s about a 10 minute drive from Gananoque in a little village. It was very clean, everything was new & modern & there was lots of room."

"Definitely, a beautiful stay with beautiful views. Checkin process is so easy and host was very quick in response. There is some issue with hot water but other than that we had a really good time. Will definitely book one more time."

"The place is exactly as shown. Muskoka chairs are in excellent condition by the fire. Kayaks are almost new and the large inventory of life jackets means everyone can enjoy the water. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cutlery, coffee and coffee machine, laundry equipment are all in excellent condition."

"Unfortunately, the house is in complete disrepair, not maintained and dirty. The mattresses are like sleeping on wood. The lawn and patio had not been mowed or weeded for at least a month. The owner did respond immediately to questions or issues that arose. The view is amazing."

"We had a big group of 14 people and booked this property on Howe Island. The location was great. It was quite, remote and peaceful, just what we were looking for. The hosts, Courtney and Chris along with their kids were very hospitable and did a great job of hosting us. Would definitely consider this place again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway!"
