Beautiful lakefront villa overlooking Lake Travis and the surrounding hill country. Relax in this resort style gated community and enjoy the two landscaped outdoor pools and hot tubs. We also have a indoor heated pool, hot tub and dry sauna which makes this place a perfect winter get away too. There is a well equipped gym and tennis courts on the property for the guest to use. We are also conveniently located close to the onsite restaurant and spa. The restaurant is open for limited hours over the weekends. We also have washer and dryer for guest to use. The kitchen is well equipped with stainless steel pots and pans, coffee maker, microwave, blender, and toaster. The living room has a sofa bed that opens to be a queen size bed. Bedroom had a queen size bed and gorgeous views of lake and hill country. Enjoy the sun set in the evenings from out balcony while watching boats cruising around, its magical! The limit for number of guests is 4. If you would need more room please see our adjoining property, Villa 2, which is right next door and can sleep an additional 4 people for a total of 8 guests. We consider 1 night rentals over weekday. If you wish to book for a night during weekdays, please ask.

Second Stay
This place is amazing. This is our second time staying in this same Condo. As always the hosts is amazing. The Condo was clean and always enjoy the balcony. Great relaxing stay me and my wife really never left the condo. Great experience and the lake is peaceful. Staying away from the city life is very relaxing. Definitely going to come back next year.

This property has a wonderful view of the Colorado River and we enjoyed our time at the outdoor hot tub. Unfortunately the indoor pool was closed which we were not aware of. There are several nice parks in the vicinity. Recommend to prepare meals on site as close by restaurants are scarce.

Amazing Weekend Break
This was a great getaway from our busy lifes in the city. The nature and country style surroundings was amazing. Feeding the deer was peaceful. I recommend anyone to stay in this room close to the elevators and alot of space. Very clean and any questions the host was quick to respond. Me and my wife will be coming back to this spot.

Quiet Getaway
Our host was amazing, providing us with a ton of great information. The property itself was gorgeous and very clean. The villa was perfect for our needs. We were disappointed by the lake level (not their fault) and how most things are closed at the start of the week (restaurants and wineries). This forced us to relax so not a bad thing.

Unit was great, very clean. Bed was very comfortable ,. Owner very helpful & check-in was easy. What would make this 5 star place was if it had more kitchen items. Lack of ice made things a little tricky when venturing out in heat. More than 1 ice cube tray is needed. Simple things like a measuring cup & pizza cutter should be added. But other than that it was a great condo overall.

Solo Retreat
My husband booked a solo trip for me to get away. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Beautiful property, excellent view of the lake. Loved being among nature with the friendly deer and the sound of birds chirping. I sat on the balcony and watched the boats pass, people skiing. Nice location to both pools. The host was responsive and went out of her way to be helpful. She provided a list of recommended restaurants nearby within a few minutes drive. She also provided a list of things to do along with contact information. My husband and I are already planning to return.

Overall, good trip
We were a little surprised to realize how far outside of Austin this was. Everything around Lago Vista is privately owned so if The Island's amenities are not open (they were not on our trip) then you have nothing to do.... it took us a day and half to figure out how to get down to the water. So location was not our favorite but it ended up working out with Viking Ship Kayak delivering some paddle boards! Also, it was not the cleanest. There was a huge roach in the bedroom when we arrived. Overall, it worked out, but we'll stay in Austin next time. Lots of snags, but overall we had a good trip.

Not impressed....
The unit itself needs a very thorough cleaning. Cobwebs and dead bugs in master bedroom and on interior and exterior windows, baseboards filthy and balcony also needs attention to fully enjoy. Many photos taken of the conditions so that I could validate my concerns with the owner if asked when we contacted shortly after our arrival. New kitchen appliances (ice maker broken with out of order sign...obviously no intention to repair, exterior fridge door nasty, oven did not looked like it was ever cleaned and washing machine was extremely noisy not to mention dishwasher. Replacing kitchen cabinets is desperately needed (painted very poorly to cover up age and condition). I would also recommend simple changes such as new bathrooms towels that match and throw out the towels with holes. We choose not to use the shower during our short stay....since the light did not work inside. Since we were so disappointed, we decided to vacate after 2 days into our rental period. VRBO has a "strict" refund policy, as advised by owner, but regardless we still left and booked into a hotel for the remainder of our vacation. Rather a costly mistake but based on the reviews I thought we would have enjoyed our time there which is why I booked. Lesson well learned and will not be repeated.
