"Our group of 7 people (3 adults and 4 kids) made a last-minute booking at Hotel Portneuvois when it had the last 2 rooms available in the Quebec City region on a fall holiday weekend. We had no idea what to expect and were very pleasantly surprised. Checkin was courteous and quick. Rooms were impeccably clean. Beds were warm and cozy. It is a 45-minute drive from old town Quebec, but much of the route is scenic and there are several pleasant and picturesque towns on the way for a meal etc. ...

" We hated to leave. A perfect spot to relax in comfort yet near enough to Quebec to explore the City at leisure assuming you have a vehicle. The unit has everything you’d need for a relaxing stay including the lovely grounds with beautiful hikes near the river. We had to force ourselves out to explore! It shows pride of ownership to the max! Everything is perfect down to the last detail and the owners are totally responsive . We could not have asked for a lovelier stay anywhere."
