"I have trouble walking and the lift was out of order on arrival. Not to worry, the sevice team swapped our first floor room for a ground floor more accessible one as soon as they saw the problem. Thank you so much for for your kindly intervention. We had a good night sleep and the breakfast was outstanding. This set us up for the ferry journey to the Isle of Wight. Superb!"

"Overall, generally very good and comfortable stay but the bedroom was a little on the warm side (even with the window open) and the wifi never really worked. Staff were friendly and helpful. Evening food was very good and the staff were very attentive to whether or not guests had any allergies. Breakfast was also good and well cooked but quite limited in there being no self-service continental option - you had to order this as your breakfast option from the menu. All in all, an enjoyable stay...

"Enjoyed a lovely, romantic mini break here. Very clean room (no.4 in the garden) great shower pressure, working tv, tea, coffee, hair dryer, iron, easy check-in. Excellent full english cooked breakfast and fruit cereal etc. Although its a pub inn its a very peaceful room because the pub is more of a gastro pub and everyone went home by 10pm so we had an extremely good night sleep. Recommended!"

"We stayed here the day after an all night flight before a cruise the following day. There was no bell service and the halls are carpeted and nearly impossible to drag luggage across. The rooms were unique and the bed was great. You can hear the neighboring rooms but fortunately we had quiet neighbors. The coffee shop/cafe was nice in atmosphere and the food was good too.
