Unbeatable location, very central. Ideal to visit the city walking, being located just minutes from all points of tourist and cultural attractions, as well as Wet Quarter, famous wines and tapas area. Apartment very careful, comfortable and cozy, fully equipped. Easy access to main routes into the city. About 15 minutes walk from the bus and train. There are all kinds of shops in the near surroundings.
Excellent starting point for excursions in both winter and summer. (Route Mozarabic route Esla, Sickles of Vegacervera, Cave of Valporquero, Babia route, route Bierzo, route Páramo). Ideal as a base for snow sports (ports Pajares and San Isidro) and hiking.

Perfect Spot for Our Visit to Northern Spain!

Ana’s apartment was clean and cozy, with plenty of room for three adults and two children. Having the washing machine and drying racks was a huge plus for us. The building is in a great location, near lots of cafeterías, restaurants, and shops, it’s easy walking distance from the old part of the city, and there’s a grocery store with very friendly and helpful employees just around the corner. The neighbors in the building were also quite friendly and very patient with our faltering Spanish. There can be a little street noise, especially on the weekends, but we had no trouble sleeping because the window coverings insulated us from almost all of it, and the noise never continued very late into the evening. Ana was very responsive when we had questions. For example, I found the Spanish recycling system quite confusing, and I couldn’t figure out how to take out the trash. I messaged Ana, and she responded very quickly and helped me understand what to do. (Incidentally, once I learned about the recycling system, I was very impressed. They recycle so much more in Spain than I can in the U.S., and it’s so easy once you crack the code.) And I second other reviewers’ recommendations to visit the Picos de Europa national park. It wasn’t a very long drive to get there from León, and the hiking was so incredible it was completely worth it. León was an ideal jumping-off point for all of our adventures northern Spain, and Ana’s place was a great place to stay. I would definitely love to stay at Ana’s place again if I get back to León.

Comfortable apartment

The apartment is comfortable and well furnished. All kitchen utensils,cooking facilities and shower are in good working order. The location is very good and close to shops and bus station. However there is a major problem in entering the building. The key to the building does not work and often we had to wait until people were coming out in order for us to get in. This is not acceptable. The neighbourhood is not quiet as advertised. There is a Rock club opposite and teenagers often congregate outside the building sitting on the doorstep.

It met all our needs, and felt like home

We rented this apartment from Ana as a base to use while visiting our son and his friend in Leon. We are from the USA. Our son loves Spain, but as an American he misses American breakfasts! We were able to make great use of Ana's well provisioned kitchen to provide homemade breakfast to our son and his American friend each morning prior to departing on our many adventures in Northern Spain. The apartment met all of our needs, was clean, and comfortable. Thank you, Ana! P.S. For nature lovers, the Picos de Europa are not to be missed. We had one of the loveliest hiking days of our lives traversing around the glacial lakes there.

PERFECTO

El piso ideal acogedor y caluroso, localización perfecta, no tuvimos ningún problema para aparcar en zona azul ya que el sabado por la mañana nos marchamos de ruta y a la tarde ya no funciona la zona azul. Recogida de llaves a la hora que llegamos sin presión de horarios, asi que encantados. Volveremos seguro!!!

Ideal

Pasé 4 días en León con mi familia y la verdad es que no podíamos haber elegido mejor el alojamiento. Empezando por la ubicación (el piso se encuentra a unos pocos minutos andando del centro histórico), pasando por la amabilidad de la señora que nos recibió y hasta el piso totalmente cómodo y confortable, nos hizo sentir en casa. Cabe destacar lo limpió que estaba todo. El año que viene tenemos planeado volver y sin dudarlo volveremos a alojarnos en este piso.

Central and comfortable

A great place to stay in Leon. It's spacious and in a quiet residential neighborhood just minutes away from the old town. The kitchen is well equipped. The owner is particularly gracious and flexible. She was able to adjust my arrival date without any charge, and did not expect any payment until I was in Leon.

piso muy agradable y centrico

Hemos pasado tres días en León y nos hemos alojado en este piso. Somos cinco amigas. El piso es muy agradable, esta muy limpio y muy bien cuidado. Además la localización es muy buena, aparcas el coche y puedes ir andando a todas partes. La atención por parte de Ana la propietaria ha sido muy buena, así como la de Mar, que nos atendió muy bien al entregarnos las llaves y enseñarnos el piso.

una estancia ideal

El piso precioso, amplio, limpio y con todas las comodidades. El trato tanto con Ana, la persona intermediaria, asi como con la dueña del piso todo un placer. Muy bien situado y super tranquilo. Me preocupaba tener que pagar zona azul por aparcar el coche pero pudimos aparcar gratis a unos 5min del piso. Desde luego si algun dia vuelvo a leon no lo dudaria. Mire mucho antes de decidirme y la verdad fue todo un acierto.

Es Perfecto!!

Nosotras somos 5 chicas que nos hemos alojado en agosto. El piso tiene de todo, no hemos necesitado de nada. Esta muy cerca de la zona de bares. Esta situado en una zona muy tranquila. Perfecto para descansar. Hemos salido encantadas, y no dudaremos en volver a este sitio, y en recomendar a todos los que podamos. Un saludo!!

Perfecto para3 o 4 personas

Mi familia estuve en León para visitarme. El apartamento hay todo que necesitas para cocinar y vivir. Está muy cerca del centro. También Restaurantes, el cine Van Gogh y supermercados están muy cerca. Todo estaba limpia y en un buen estado! Solo vi la limpieza para recibir las llaves y ella es muy amable. El contacto con la dueña fue muy simpático y fácil. Mi hermano es vegetariano por eso fuimos a un restaurante que se llama l´union. El restaurante hay varias comidas muy ricas y está en la calle Florez de Lemos 3.

Semana Santa en Leon

El piso aunque antiguo, esta practicamente en el centro de Leon a 5 minutos andando del famoso Barrio Humedo, pero a las noches muy tranquilo. Aunque los muebles son un poco antiguos, los colchones estaban muy bien y los electrodomesticos eran nuevos (estrenamos el horno). El menaje de cocina de lo mas completo, como si estuvieras en tu casa. La dueña muy amable y la persona que nos recibio igualmente. En resumen un bello recuerdo. Un saludo desde Astigarraga.

Todo fenomenal

El piso es tal y como aparece en las fotos. Está todo muy bien. Las camas son comodísimas y la calefacción estupenda. Además, tanto la persona que lo alquila como la que nos recibió fueron encantadoras.

Recepción: Correcto. Dieron toda clase de recomendaciones. Cocina: Con todo lo necesario y extras en alimentos. Salón: Muy amplio y cómodo, con muy buenos sillones y butacas para descansar, ver la TV, hablar etc. Habitaciones: son amplias, con muy buenos y cómodos colchones. Cuartos de baños: Con todos los elementos necesarios. Limpieza: Perfecta. Es de agradecer. Se siente uno como en casa. Ubicación: La zona es centro. Ningún monumento está a una distancia superior a 1 Km.
