"The property was ideally placed for access to local transport networks to easily get around and see the best of Nice. Due to its location (just across the road) from the beach it was slightly more pricey than I would have liked due to the condition of the property. For examples some light switch covers kept falling off, the sofa bed was dated, and the railing in one of the lifts was very loose/broken, but the location easily made up for it. Friendly and helpful owners who upgraded us from a room with 2 beds to a superior room with 3 beds at no additional cost. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. There was no A/C but the hotel offers good value for the money."

"What a fortuitous find! The Hotel Villa les Cygnes is a small hotel, very well situated - the Musée des Beaux Arts is just down the road and the Promenade is a short walk away - and is kept impeccably clean. "Good clean basic budget type hotel. Not easy to find though as it is off several side roads from the main promenade. There are a lot of road works near by due to a tram line under construction.
