"Lovely position in the country and run be a friendly and charming English speaking owner. The dinner was exceptional and I loved the country atmosphere. The Shower (in the bath) could be improved but otherwise the room was large and full of character. Not luxurious but fun and quaint. I would definitely go back. The shop btw has surprisingly tasteful offerings. Lovely textiles and ceramics."

"Just overnighted on the way to catch the ferry to Newhaven. Check in was quick, the room was nice and clean. Only disappointment after a long day’s driving was no vegetarian options in the restaurant. But we drove about five minutes and found a pub that catered for us meatless types. Would happily stay again, but it would be great to be able to eat there. Even a simple pasta would be great. "
