"Noone around to take my bags when arrived. It was before checkin but had to find the number and get a call back after they didn't answer (within 'available' hours). "Overall I was fairly happy. On the plus side, very warm and comfortable bed with a TV even though I don't speak French! Shower was adequate. Powerful but hand held. Could have done with an extra shelf for a shaving mirror to stand on. The biggest downside is that there is free Wi-Fi but it doesn't actually work in the room! From a location point of view, I should have done more research before booking. This was my first time in Marseille and I'm not exactly the most experienced of travellers....
