"When we arrived at the property, it was exactly as described in the listing and even a little larger than we expected. The setting was beautiful and so peaceful! I loved watching the water from my seat around the fire and listening to all of the woodland creatures going about their day. My son also loved that it was a "classic" Maine Camp.... it was just like one would imagine. We would definitely recommend and stay here again."

"The house is exactly what the listing describes. Best place I’ve stayed at! They had everything you could think of, and if you forget something, they must likely have it there. Host answers pretty quick. We had a great time, we hope to be back to use that beach! I was a disappointed, there was a storm coming in, so I wasn’t able to stay my full time & I didn’t get offered any kind of reimbursement for the night I missed. "

"This house was close to Portland in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It had plenty of space for me, my wife, and four kids. I love the care the owners take to make sure we have the comforts of home. It's fully stocked up with towels, toilet paper, kitchen cookware, you name it. They also took the time to label all of the light switches so you know how to turn everything one. "Beautiful, private cottage with exceptional hosts. Lisa was attentive and accommodating to our needs, and very easy to communicate with. The house was immaculate, and very thoughtfully decorated. We brought our boat and were grateful for the private dock...we had a great time fishing, waterskiing and exploring the lake as well as traveling up the Songo River thru the locks. "Staff was amazing. the young lady, Estella, checking us in was so friendly, and had great ideas on things to do with our children in the area, really made us feel comfortable. Maintenance gentleman had a great sense of humor, always busy but joked with us every time we saw him. house keeping was kind, friendly, and helpful. We will definitely go again."
