Pros; the location of this hotel is ideal due to proximity to various sights and attractions within (walking distance to all points of interests - Qinlong bridge, bars/restaurants, Sifang street, tea/horse routes, etc..) and outside Shuhe old town (closer to Yulong Snow Mountain, Baisha Village & Jade Water Village). It is also accessible by taxi directly to doorstep, which is helpful for those with quite a bit of luggage (as most of Shuhe does not allow car/van access).
Great value, as breakfast is included, which is healthy and hearty traditional fare.
The staff are lovely and extremely helpful, which is another plus point.
Clean room, fresh beddings and towels.
Quiet environment for restful sleep.
Cons; bathroom door could do with a layer of frosting for more privacy (as it is completely see through).
Certain parts are not entirely covered/rain proof and stairs could be rather dark.
Overall, a positive experience, and hence the recommendation for anyone searching for an affordable upper range but short of luxury class hotel.
