The Patio and Lawn areas are secluded by Sussex Flint walls and a mature established hedge, enabling a spacious alfresco social space that includes a Fire pit / BBQ upon arrangement.
The south-facing balcony, with ample seating, can be a sun trap from which to relax with a view of the sea.
Our Family was brought up in the house and Families are most welcome with children subject to contact with the host to ensure a hazard-free stay for the very young.
Guests who frequently stay are extended family members visiting relatives in the surrounding villages for family occasions / celebrations / religious Holidays.
Our road is unique, gated, private with no through traffic.
Guest couples often use the base for local events at Goodwood racing Horses & Cars, All that Brighton , Arundel, Chichester and beyond for example. The House being so close to the beach is ideal for kite surfing, windsurfing stand-up Paddle boarding.
Beach-based BBQs are also popular amongst the locals.
Location - East Preston village is quiet and picturesque, it has all you need to enjoy an evening out without having to travel. This includes local eateries within walking distance from the house such as The Seahorse Cafe, Seaview Gastro Pub, , The Tudor Tavern, Micks Fish & Chips, Penang Chinese Restaurant, , Reema Indian Restaurant, Grub & Gumption Sea Horse, and G&G Cafés with excellent home-made food.
Local amenities include Seaview Stores, a general store stocking all the essentials. A hairdresser and a barber can also be found within walking distance.
The beach itself is a real gem, and at low tide provides a huge expanse of sand that’s dog friendly all year round. When it comes to dining by the sea, you’ll be spoilt for choice, as the Seaview Freehouse sits just a stones throw from the seafront, and on sunny summer days, Salt Café is 120 steps from the house on the beach for seafront brew and tasty snack and stunning views.
A walk East along the beach for 15 minutes from the property brings you to The Bluebird Café, or if you’re feeling more adventurous, a 45 minute walk West along the beach brings you to East Beach Café in Littlehampton, an architectural attraction serving great food from local suppliers.
Local Amenities - The local village of Angmering (walking distance) is a charming quaint seaside town. Further afield are Worthing, Brighton, Arundel and more.
