"Really unhappy with Pillow Partners communication. I had trouble getting in the main door, asked for help and 20 hours later received this message back “There is a front door code and an apt code. What exactly do you want me to explain to you?” Completely unprofessional and rude."

"Wanted to visit the shops/art gallery/museums in the area. This location could not have been better. Needs some up-dating but the cost of our stay (very reasonable) reflects this. Reluctant to complain but the apartment is listed as 2 bathrooms whereas in fact it was a shower/bathroom and a separate loo and sink. Overall would highly recommend. Thank you Martyn."

"I have pictures of our disgusting dirty room with spider webs & uneven flooring. Smelly moldy rooms with wet stains on the walls and ceiling. The Wi-Fi didn’t work and neither did the TV. There was a tea kettle, but no tea or coffee. This looked nothing like the picture you showed!!! I would like my money refunded. I would not recommend this property to anyone! We slept in our clothes and couldn’t wait to get on the ship to shower and send our clothes to the laundry."

"A comfy home, lots of space and everything we needed for a great stay. The balcony came into its own on a beautiful sunny weekend and the walk into the harbour along the Marine or the beach via Zig-Zag path was lovely. We would definitely stay here again if we came back to Folkestone!"

"I needed immediate help when the sat sav dumped me nearby & my host talked me all the way to the front door which was a huge relief. The accommodation is dated but I knew that from the photos it was very clean though & i was surprised to find all the essentials had ben left. I wasn’t expecting that so had brought it all with me. "Very nice penthouse. Our host took very good care of us. And the flat really has everything ready for you! Truly handy are all the shops on your doorstep and the beach is only a 15 minutes walk away."

"Debs flat in Hythe was great, just as described. The location was wonderful, the sea was just across the street. The flat was spacious, clean, and well heated, with comfortable beds and nice amenities. The neighbors upstairs could occasionally be noisy late at night. Light sleeper you will be fine with earplugs. Debs and Phil were easy to contact and helpful in every way. We would be happy to stay here again. "

"You can't really get much closer to the beach and despite their being shops below this wasnt that noticeable and we felt like each morning and night we had the beach to ourselves. The rooms were nicely decorated and well equiped, it was spacious but felt nice and cozy. A great retreat from the crowds on the weekend. The bar downstairs was nice and all staff friendly... so nice they even retrieved my phone from lost property and sent it back to me after we had lost it! We had a fantastic time...
