"We stayed in Tuilip Lodge for 4 nights as a little break visiting relatives in the locality. The lodge was bigger than expected and we loved the quiet countryside location There is a steep driveway up to the top of the hill it was worth it for the views. We explored the local area around Llangollen, Shrewsbury and had a day out to Chester which was about 50 minutes drive away. There are also plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby which saved cooking! "We booked last minute and were very impressed with the cabin just perfect for a peaceful getaway but close enough to so many walks and places to visit. Took our dog as well and so safe for him to have room to move onto the patio area as gated off and lovely walk around the site with a kids park as well. Love to go back soon."
