"This was the first time I’ve ever stayed in a hostel, and I had such a wonderful experience, I’m definitely going to do it again. First, I LOVE the jailhouse theme! It was so cute and made me feel right at home. Second, it was absolutely spotless. I’ve stayed in five star hotels that were not that clean! The cells were small and spartan (as they should be since it’s a jail!), but the beds were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with kitchen stuff, and I had my own bin in which...

"Wonderful place in the heart of the CBD! It's just half a block from the bus station, making it super convenient for getting around. Highly recommend! The cleaning staff could use some improvement. Our room was cleaned late in the afternoon when we had already returned, and the towels weren’t changed daily. On one occasion, they took the used towels but forgot to replace them. Hopefully, this can be addressed for a smoother experience."

"They are really committed to the jail theme and there are a few fun activities you can do such as fingerprinting yourself or taking a mugshot. Also has various informative displays of the jail's history. "

"It was difficult for me to get into and out of the shower. Some secure handrails on the wall in the bathroom would help. Other than that it was a clean and quiet room. I'd stay again if I knew that handrails were fitted. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"The location of this place was great, and the staff were friendly. However the kitchen was dirty and had very few usable utensils or tools, the locks on the bathrooms didn't work, some of the lights wouldn't turn on, and all of the surfaces in our room were slightly sticky. Also, although I realise this isn't something the management have any control over, my children were exposed to language that I was extremely uncomfortable with from other guests."
