"The hotel was alright. We spent only a night. We came in at 11 pm. Checking in took a tad longer than we are used to. The bathroom definitely needed better cleaning as the shower area had molds. The faucet in the bathroom was not well placed. Every time we tried to use the faucet, it caused the water to spill all over. We went to the breakfast area at 9.15 and already the orange juice was finished. I requested the staff to replenish it, but it fell on deaf ears."

"Staying at the Ocean Mist gives you a chance to see a less touristy neighborhood of Edinburgh, an easy 25 min bus ride away from the Old Town. It's on a pretty stretch of waterfront, near many good restaurants. The boat itself is gorgeous, renovated from the hull up in the last few years, with an art deco vibe. The bar is very classy for a cocktail on the outside deck. Toni and colleagues provided impeccable service for a perfect continental breakfast, included with the stay."

"Hotel was easy to find and approximately 10 minute walk from the tram station which takes you into the city centre or to the airport. Room was clean and comfortable however the walls are very thin and as such this makes for a noisy atmosphere. We could hear people coming in late at night and leaving early in the morning. However this was my only real problem with the hotel. Decent for price. "

"We stayed here during the pandemonium that was Taylor Swift’s tour and it was exactly what we needed. Easy transportation into the city center on the tram but far enough removed from the hustle and bustle that it was very peaceful! Highly recommend.
