"Massive free car park Check in by the bar for all information given. Room (6) up a flight of stairs The room is very compact! As was the shower room. Bed super comfortable Shower hot and powerful Wifi is excellent Breakfast was excellent Evening meal was awesome Good choices and good value The location is set in beautiful countryside with lots of nice walks close by. Would definitely stay again but would like to try a different room."

"I was a lone traveller . Staying at the Belmont was perfect for me. Compact room with nice shower Tv and fridge . Bed was comfy I received text from the owner asking if everything was ok and can turn the fridge off if i was a light sleeper. It was close to conference centre which i was attending. Would use the Belmont for future visits. "

"Small and quiet although a lot of traffic noise as our room was right on the roadside and no double glazing. Clean and orderly. No noise from other visitors. Staff helpful. Lovely small pool and sauna. The room was a bit on the small side, room for only one chair and we were two visitors but otherwise very comfortable. Beautiful situation and excellent walks from the hotel."

"There were not curtains or black out curtains on the windows. The mirror had emotion detection led lights and as I was trying to switch them off I found a syringe, thankfully without the needle. I'm very disappointed with the overall condition of the room."

Lovely served breakfast by a really pleasant girl who was on her own but remained calm and efficient under pressure. Two small criticisms,couldn’t find plain old terrestrial tv but everything else available and the “garden room” we booked turned out to be the front garden on to the main road. "Such a bad check in. Took 15-20 minutes to get me into the room, which was terrible. Pictures on adverts did not represent the place. Shared bathroom with no toilet seat. Just such a bad experience. I prepaid for 2 nights and paid for another hotel second night so I didn’t have to stay. "

Car park was full, even early, but council parking literally across the road was cheaper anyway (albeit less secure). Location is a bit of a walk into town, but we just got a cab anyway.
