"The house was as expected and pictured. Very clean and accommodating. The pool was wonderful and the small fenced yard was perfect. Will stay again!!"

"A very nice, quiet, location on a hilltop with a view. Our goal was to go birdwatching at the refuge and this was conveniently located to that as well as easy to get downtown for shopping and restaurants. For us, birding on the property was also enjoyable. Just the type of place we love to stay. Everything inside was clean, cozy and well decorated, even some homey Christmas decorations. The host’s artwork is on the walls and it complements the lake are beautifully. "

"We have had bad luck in past with cleanliness and overall upkeep of beach front rentals specifically. This far surpassed my expectations. My husband and I agreed we have not been to another VRBO rental that was this clean. My only negative is there were zero throw blankets in the home, so that would be a nice addition. "The place was very nice. There were a few issues that I spoke to the owner about. The mattresses in the two bunk bed rooms were heavy stained. The owner said that the front bunk room was stained due to a leaky AC problem which was fix. Still looks bad if that is the cause. The back bunk room was terribly stained. Make sure you bring extra toilet paper because you will only get one roll per bathroom. Also, there was no soap for the kitchen as well as no trash bags. A note on the refrigerator said...

"Had a wonderful stay with our family, the bedrooms and view were amazing. Right on the beach as well. Well equipped with plates and dishes. My only complaint would be that we paid for the pool to be heated and it was not. It was supposed to be 85 degrees, but we felt it was not. While it did not bother the kids I have a special needs daughter which is why we paid to have it heated. The neighbors were kind and respectful. We would love to come back. "

"This house was just what we needed. It fit our family. The bunk room was great to hold the age rang of kids we had and the all the adult rooms with king size beds was perfect! So hard to find this. And the pool was just right for my nephew "
