The Daniel Goodenough House - large lumber baron historical landmark.

Welcome to our spacious 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom retreat, tailor-made for unforgettable family vacations. Adorned with elegant wood accents throughout, every corner of this home exudes warmth and charm.
Step inside and be greeted by a stunning stairway that sets the tone for the entire residence. Upstairs, each bedroom boasts its own private bathroom, ensuring comfort and convenience for all guests. For those preferring to stay on the main floor, a bedroom awaits, providing easy access without stairs.
Gather everyone in the expansive living and dining areas, thoughtfully designed to accommodate your entire party. Need a quiet space to unwind or catch up on work? The upstairs sitting room offers a cozy retreat for both kids and adults alike.
While our home is a work in progress, it's already a masterpiece in the making, promising a unique and memorable stay. Outside, discover ample space to roam and relax, including a screened porch and a wrap-around porch perfect for enjoying the fresh air.
For added convenience, we provide a grill for your culinary adventures, perfect for sizzling up delicious meals amidst the serene surroundings of our property.
In the evenings, gather around the wood burner area for cozy fires under the stars. Just a stone's throw away from downtown Ludington, our property offers easy access to beaches, parks, and marinas, ensuring endless entertainment for all ages.
Please note that while you'll have exclusive access to the first and second floors of the main house, the third floor and carriage house are occupied by long-term tenants. Parking is ample with three spaces accommodating up to six regular-sized cars.
For added transparency, we want to mention that the main floor bathroom is currently a work in progress. While functional, the shower may not meet our usual standards of luxury. However, rest assured, it's on our list for renovation next winter, ensuring an even more delightful experience for future guests
Experience the best of Ludington from our inviting retreat – your ideal home away from home.

Absolutely beautiful house! Excellent location. Clean and well-furnished!
This house was built in the late 1800s and is absolutely beautiful. There are a/c units throughout which kept the temperature comfortable. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room for our extended family. You can’t beat the location!

Great place, perfect location, fun times!
The DG house was a great place to stay for the whole family! Plenty of space, lots of historical charm, walking distance to all the fun Ludington has to offer. The host was very easy to get a hold of. Beds were comfortable. Living and dining spaces were great for the whole family to gather. Two fridges makes it easy to stock up on food. We had one issue with the grill and the grill was replaced the next day! Awesome! The AC at the property is not central air, but window units. One of the units had a problem, and the kitchen got a bit warm. But this was a very minor issue and the only negative. We would absolutely consider staying at the DG house when we return to MI (hopefully sooner rather than later). Thank you!
