"Best bits of this hotel - easy self check in and check out. Everything else is really quite basic which corresponds the price. It is great if you need to stay somewhere as you wait over for a flights in Edinburgh. Tram stops are in a walkable distance, or we just walked to the centre - I think it took us less than hour. "I can’t say enough good things about this place. The staff were so incredibly friendly, it was easily accessible from the city centre by the number 7, 14 or 11 buses and it’s quiet. The bed was super comfy and all other amenities were excellent. I was pretty jet lagged so I appreciated coming to this quiet area and resting. Thank you for everything and I will for sure be back!"

"Stayed for 1 night while in the city for a family event. Decor is dated in places but the room was comfortable and clean. We stayed in one of the rooms that had a shared bathroom. The bathroom was also very clean but the shower was poor (freezing cold or roasting hot, no middle ground). Express check-in and check out was quick and very convenient. Staff were available and helpful via WhatsApp regarding the check in process. Kettle with tea and coffee in room but didn't use and left before...

"Arriving late on a dark evening, it looked unwelcoming - but the lass on reception made up for that! The room was large and warm, with wooden furniture, and the "curtains" were wooden shutters: it felt friendly. Characterful: the ceiling must have been about 4m up, an a bit of box trim (proably hiding pipework) made a useful seat or low shelf. Everything worked. The station was a 5 minute walk, town centre likewise. I'd go back if in the area again."
