"Peaceful stay amid lovely Asian themed tropical gardens, dining room, outdoor lounges and guest room. Great sunset view from our room although up 3 flights of steps - this property could be difficult if you have mobility issues. Very good breakfast buffet and there is also a cocktail bar which also serves pool snacks (we were cooked for on our first night as well - friendly staff made it clear they would try and meet such requests where reasonably possible). "This hotel was our ‘splash’ for the trip and it absolutely delivered. Very friendly and professional welcome at the Reception desk, checked in early with no qualms at all, beautifully clean rooms with good amenities and amazing views. We loved the cliff side location with views over the dramatic Madeira’s coast. Impressive breakfast spread tended by staff who were very well trained. We enjoyed the pool/ hot tub though felt a little rushed after the day as it closed at 8pm… perhaps 9pm would give...
