"We had a great stay at Awakino and the location was unbeatable. We had functions to attend in Mokau which was really ply only a few minutes away. We also traveled to Waikawau and it made it so easy to get to. I would recommend this premises for anyone. The owner was very accessible and very friendly even leaving some homemade biscuits and farm fresh eggs for us. It was an older style house and had everything we needed. "We stayed for 1 night. The accommodation has everything you need. It was quirky and fun. All rooms very clean and comfortable. Our child loved the bunk bed room. We were very happy to have the milk and bread etc. The night sky was amazing to see from here. Would thoroughly recommend!"

"Everything about this spot and stay was seamless and stunning. The views, the location, the ability to still work (I was on a work trip) and have reception was an extra bonus. The host was great to communicate with and there was everything we could need. So happy the fire was stoked and ready to roll.
