Barley Mow
4.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (115)
"Hotel is cosy and warm on entering. Log burners burning. Our evening meal was average in my opinion. My steak baguette had onions that were Luke warm, as were the beans at breakfast. Breakfast took an age to arrive. Our room was nice except for paint peeling from a chimney breast I think. Overall it suited our needs for 1 night. Set in breathtaking scenery."

3.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (15)
"Lovely, newly renovated property. Lots of walks and villages around 2 miles away with pubs. The Waterfall to the rear is a sight as well. The food in the green dragon is out of this world, really excellent. Room newly renovated, clean and the WiFi was fantastic as well. Did think it a little stingy that they charged £15 for a dog to stay, however there was a tennis ball, dog biscuits and a pack of poo bags in a box on arrival. Would definitely come back again"

Middle Studfold Farm B&B
3.5 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (134)
"First thing we realised when we turned up was that you are not staying on a farm but in a characterful old farmhouse. You have to park on the road outside but it is off the main road and is very quiet. Jan, is a wonderful host, welcoming, friendly, and a really good cook. The breakfasts and the one evening meal we had were excellent - and better than the ones we had in the upmarket hotel we stayed in afterwards. If you like good food then consider staying here. The dining room is nice to eat...

"Absolutely 5*, we stayed in the oasis suite and from the second we walked through the door - tranquil music playing , jungle relaxing vibes , perfect lighting we knew it was going to be an amazing couple of days. Decor is so beautiful, the bathroom - bath with a telly and surround sound just topped it off, biggest comfiest bed I’ve slept in and the hot tub on the terrace was fantastic, every single detail that has gone into making this room what it is and it doesn’t go unnoticed, we loved our 2...

"Loved our stay, great location. Our room was compact, but well appointed and clean. Only minor gripe being a very small shower. Absolute highlight was our host Roxana. Dominique was also very accommodating with our dog which made all the difference.
